Description
This project arises from the breeder’s desire to put their very favourite strain, The Blues, into autoflowering format. Although little-known outside of the UK, The Blues (or Pukkas) proved a firm favourite among those who were aware of her existence. There are several versions that are clone only, and respect is due to of the hardworking guys and girls who have been working with it with much love and attention for so many years. It is a favourite with very, very good reason.
Details
This is the autoflowering version of the breeder’s favourite strain, and is formed from a UK Blues cut and a Purple Indica Auto F4. The plants tend to be green in colour, instead of purple, and give off an immensely powerful and pungent fruit aroma.
The strain has been around since the early 90s, and is believed to be a sibling of the now famous UK Exodus Cheese. Its growth structure, flower formation and leaf shape are almost identical. However, when The Blues is flowered, it exudes an incredibly pungent aroma with a fruity edge as opposed to cheesy. It really makes those taste buds tingle! This is a plant that can make your hair stand on end – and if you’re not careful it could completely zombify you.
The breeders crossed it to their Purple Indica auto, and there began the fun process of working the strain. The F3s displayed frequent purple phenotypes, and it was decided to use the greenest ones as these more closely match the mother.
Mephisto Genetics Blues Auto feminized cannabis seeds create a plant with large colas and tight internodes. This beauty will branch well and excel in growth if given the space. A highly-recommended specimen indeed!
