Details
Crystal METH, a superb Mexican hybrid, has become the Fast Buds flagship strain due to an adaptability that persists from seed to harvest. It has a generous yield potential of 600 g/m2 (1.3 pounds per light), a flowering time of 8 to 9 weeks and is ideal for novice or expert cultivators who are looking for a fast, secure, and hassle-free harvest.
The plant will be fully mature and ripe in approximately 65 to 70 days from seed. Fast Buds have achieved an ideal germination and early seedling phase which lasts about five days. Thereafter, this specimen grows in a compact manner. During its first two weeks in flower the plant is light green, almost yellow, and bit by bit the leaves take the form of a skirt, remaining compact around a central bud that should grow to a chunky 5cm (2 inches) in diameter.
During the fifth week the colour show begins. The leaves turn a beetroot red and the green becomes darker, almost black, producing a stunning, visual effect that really allows the METH to stand out from the crowd. It typically grows to a height of 90cm (35 inches), but can also reach 120 cm (50 inches) in certain conditions.
It is suitable both for indoor and outdoor grows and each plant should be given enough space to allow for the successful development of strong branches. Fast Buds also recommend that one fertilises generously since she is a gluttonous plant that loves food and responds well to extra nutrients. One should also be aware that she is pH sensitive, so check regularly and be prepared to adjust pH levels accordingly. Due to its mother's genetics, the buds grow completely covered in white trichomes during peak ripeness. This is why Fast Buds named it Crystal Meth. Its resin is abundant and of the finest quality and its smell during growth is powerful and persistent - carbon filters are a must.
